Interview with Javier Lorés: the value of college undergraduates and recent graduates profiles in companies Hipoges

In HipoGes Iberia, we take seriously into account the profiles who have just finished their academic studies. All over the year, and with the aim of identifying the best talent, we have been working together with Alumni Global Search (a digital platform, pioneer in Spain, that has been thought specifically to connect recent college graduates with companies) trying to attract and select the appropriate candidates in our Internship Program.

Every year, HipoGes Iberia launches into its Program of Training Formation in the different departments of management. All over the Training Program, the Trainees in company go through every step and function of management, which are developed in the department they have been selected for. What is more, they take profit of an evaluation system allowing them to get a real feedback of their performance. At the end of the period of their Internship, there are actual options to join the company, depending on their performance and the hiring needs of HipoGes.

Javier Lorés, Human Resources Director of HipoGes Iberia, has been interviewed by Alumni on January 2016. The objective was to get to know what the added value of incorporating college undergraduates and graduates students as Trainees in companies was. Moreover, they focus especially on the positive aspects but also in those areas which are able to be improved, those which must be developed among students so that they start to give their first steps in the labour world as soon as possible.
