Hipoges Summer Party 2025: Welcome On Board – an Unforgettable Experience!
On Friday, 6th of June 2025, Hipoges held one of the most anticipated events of the year: the Hipoges Summer Party 2025, this time with a cruise-themed concept, “Welcome On Board!”. A day full of energy, camaraderie and fun, which welcomed the summer with a nautical atmosphere that turned the event into a true cruise of unforgettable experiences.
As last year, the venue chosen was the stunning El Olivar complex in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid – a strategic location, perfectly connected to central Madrid and our offices – which welcomed more than 830 attendees from our offices in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Seville and A Coruña, as well as colleagues from our international offices in Lisbon, Oporto, Rome and Athens. The participation of team members from group companies such as Domus RS and Cobo highlighted the collaborative spirit that defines Hipoges.
Hipoges Summer Party 2025: Welcome on Board!
Why a cruise? This year’s theme was no coincidence. It represents the process of growth and expansion that Hipoges has experienced in recent years. From the integration of new talents who are now part of our big family, to the many challenges we’ve embraced with our “we make it happen” mindset, and the companies that have joined the Hipoges Group – this Summer Party 2025 symbolised our shared journey towards new horizons, underlining the importance of “on-boarding” as a key driver of our corporate culture.
With that in mind, everyone was encouraged to come dressed in their best sailor outfits, diving into the spirit of the day from the very start.
The Cruise Experience: Activities by Country
Upon arrival, participants walked through a “boarding gate” where they received a welcome pack and the onboarding pass, which had to be punched after completing the activities representing the countries where Hipoges operates: Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece.
Spain: rhythm, creativity and hand fans
The first stop was Spain, where the live band Queimada got everyone dancing with hits from the 90s to today. A creative hand fan-painting workshop was also held, featuring colourful flamenco-style designs and fun messages like “¡Ay qué calor!” (“Oh, it’s hot!”).
Chill-Out area
Between stops, the “cruise” featured a chill-out area with cushions to relax, a nautical-themed photo booth with the ship’s bow, and a fun roulette game for those who wanted to participate and play.
Portugal: surf and laughter
In Portugal, attendees were welcomed by the famous Nazaré wave and an interactive surfboard, guaranteeing plenty of laughs and memorable moments.
Italy: precision and sports
The next stop was Italy, where participants tested their aim by trying to get balls through holes in a canvas – not as easy as it sounds!
Greece: double challenges
The final stop was Greece, featuring two activities: an inflatable Greek wrestling ring and the traditional cornhole game, testing everyone’s competitive spirit.
Prizes and Souvenirs
At each station, participants received gifts such as personalised hand fans, inflatable travel pillows, luggage tags and tote bags. Those who completed all the activities were rewarded with a premium prize: a 5L waterproof bag and a nautical beach bag. In addition, everyone received a personalised cup and a cap or hat to enjoy the sunny event.
After the cruise route, guests recharged with a delicious cocktail offered by El Olivar, enjoying great food, conversations, and moments of bonding. The afternoon continued with music from our usual DJ and the start of the open bar, ending the party in a lively and festive atmosphere. It was an incredible afternoon full of laughter, great music, and memorable moments among friends and colleagues.
As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. After a day spent together in one place, buses returned to the Madrid offices and to Atocha and Chamartín stations for those travelling from outside the capital.
However, that wasn’t the final stop for everyone – as has become tradition, the last bus and other groups decided to extend the celebration outside the venue.
The Hipoges Summer Party 2025 wasn’t just the start of the summer – it was a true celebration of the team spirit that defines our company. Every year, Hipoges continues to strive to improve the quality of life for its people. See you at the next event!
And How Was the Hipoges’ 2025 Summer Party in Portugal?
Last Friday, 4th of July, we also had the opportunity to celebrate our highly anticipated Hipoges Summer Party in Portugal, under the same cruise theme: “Welcome On Board!”. This time, we chose an ideal midpoint to bring together our Lisbon and Oporto teams: the wonderful venue Quinta do Ti Lucas, located in Pombal, in the district of Leiria.
The event welcomed over 200 employees, along with more than 20 international guests who joined us for this very special occasion.
Sharing the experience with a Portuguese flavour
Although the theme was the same as in Spain, this edition had unique nuances that made it a different experience. From the very beginning, attendees immersed themselves in the summery, festive atmosphere, sporting their best nautical outfits and bringing the spirit of the event to life right away.
As in Madrid, the day began with a symbolic “boarding gate,” where attendees received their welcome pack and onboarding pass, which had to be punched after completing activities.
The cruise stops in Portugal
During the activities, the ambiance was elevated by live music from the band Stout the Band, who delivered a vibrant and fun playlist.
- Portugal: The host stop featured a fun mechanical surfboard that tested everyone’s balance, along with a traditional pool table that added a competitive edge to the event.
- Spain: The popular hand fan-painting workshop that was a hit in the Spanish edition made its return. Participants showcased their creativity by decorating hand fans with colourful designs and original messages.
- Italy: Represented by a lively foosball table, this stop encouraged teamwork and laughter among colleagues.
- Greece: As in Spain, this stop included the classic cornhole game, combining aim and competitive spirit.
The experience also included a chill-out area featuring a 360º photo booth, the traditional nautical photo booth with a ship’s bow, and an eye-catching giant chessboard that attracted both the curious and strategic minds.
In addition to the welcome pack — which included caps, hats, and sarongs — participants could earn the same premium gifts and prizes as in Spain: personalized hand fans, inflatable travel pillows, luggage tags, tote bags, and for those who completed all the stops, a 5L dry bag and a beach bag.
World flavors and great vibes
One of the highlights of the Portuguese edition was the culinary representation of each country: every stop had a food stand offering typical dishes, staffed by team members dressed in traditional attires, adding a cultural and festive touch to the event.
A very special moment: 10 years of dedication
During the celebration in Portugal, there was also a heartfelt and meaningful moment. Our Chief Corporate Services Officer, Nuno Godinho, gave a special tribute to Margarida Maia, General Manager of Hipoges Portugal, in honour of her 10-year anniversary with the company.
The symbolic presentation of a commemorative pen marked this milestone, highlighting a decade of commitment, leadership, and professionalism.
These were Nuno’s words during the tribute:
“Today we celebrate a very special milestone: the 10 years of dedication, professionalism, and leadership of Margarida Maia at Hipoges.
Ten years may seem like just a number, but they actually represent a decade of dedication, resilience, and above all, impact.
What defines Margarida’s journey is her ability to lead with purpose and maintain focus even during the most challenging times.
Throughout these years, Margarida has shown not only a clear vision of goals but also a remarkable ability to mobilize teams, inspire people, and deliver consistent results.
Her leadership leaves a mark: principled, approachable, and demanding in the pursuit of excellence.
The presentation of this symbolic pen is more than a gesture of recognition: it reflects a story of courage, of trust built day by day, and a journey that we all hope continues with the same brilliance and determination for the next 10 years.
Margarida, on behalf of the company and all of us who have the privilege of working by your side: thank you!

The audience responded with a round of applause, showing the affection and admiration the entire team has for Margarida. A touching surprise that will remain in everyone’s memory!
Despite the summer heat, the great atmosphere remained constant. A nautical-inspired cocktail helped everyone recharge, followed by the open bar and music from our DJ, which kept the dance floor lively until the end of the event.
With the return of the buses to their respective cities, another unforgettable day came to a close — one that celebrated not only the arrival of summer, but also the commitment, camaraderie, and pride of being part of the Hipoges family.
