Hipoges took part in the 9th edition of the Finance Meeting, the annual forum organised by IFAES, which brings together Spain’s top financial leaders and business management experts. The event was held on the 5th of June 2025 at Loom Events Azca in Madrid, welcoming over 300 professionals from the sector, including CFOs, financial planning directors, treasury, tax, risk, and digital transformation experts.
This year’s Finance Meeting established itself as a key gathering point for reflecting on both current and future challenges in the financial function. The agenda addressed critical themes such as data-driven decision-making, accounting automation, regulatory compliance, the CFO’s strategic role, automated financial consolidation, and the transformation of finance departments through technology and ESG criteria. The day was structured around keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking areas designed to foster the exchange of ideas, strategic inspiration, and meaningful connections among peers.
One of the standout sessions was the roundtable titled “CFOs 360°: Strategists and Connectors”, featuring Andrés Alonso, Director of Corporate Services at Hipoges. He was joined by representatives from companies such as DHL, Cox Energy, Insud Pharma, and Faraday Venture Capital, discussing the evolving role of the CFO as a cross-functional leader—one who drives operational innovation and facilitates sustainable business growth across the organisation.
