From the 17th to 19th of November, Hipoges had the opportunity to attend the CMS Finance Week 2025, further strengthening its leadership in the sector and adding value as a company specialising in the full lifecycle management of assets. This new edition of the event took place in Madrid, once again consolidating itself as a benchmark platform for trends and analysis on the transformation of the Spanish financial sector.
In this strategic context, Hipoges took an active role not only as a Premier Sponsor, but also by reaffirming its commitment to innovation, industry expertise, and the creation of new opportunities in the management of financial and real estate assets.
Organised by CMS Group, the CMS Finance Week brought together more than 700 professionals from across the European financial sector, including executives, technology experts and leaders from banks, fintechs, servicers, specialised providers, as well as institutional investors and experts in credit and recovery technologies. Within this framework, Hipoges contributed its expert perspective through two key interventions.
Representing the company, several key members of Hipoges took part in the event, including our General Manager, Margarida Maia; Pedro Valle Domingues, Chief Business Development Officer; Rita Couto, Global Chief Operating Officer; Luis Ramírez, Head of Sareb; Carlos Pérez de Yrigoyen, Business Development Director; Milena Gozalo, Portfolio Management Director; and Andrés Alonso, Corporate Services Director.

Hipoges’ Vision: Efficiency, Technology and the Evolution of the NPL Market
During his session “From Outsourcing to Co-Innovation: New Relationship Models between Banks and Servicers in Collections”, Pedro Valle Domingues, Chief Business Development Officer, provided his insights on how the relationship between financial institutions and servicers is evolving towards more collaborative models based on co-creation of solutions, the use of advanced technologies and the pursuit of efficiencies across the collection’s lifecycle. He emphasised the importance of fostering partnerships that enable risk anticipation, process optimisation and a more agile, comprehensive and customer-oriented service.
Rita Couto, Global Chief Operating Officer, explored “Trends in the NPL Market: Secured & Unsecured, Secondary Market, Reperforming and New Opportunities”. During her intervention, she analysed the evolution of the debt market in the Iberian Peninsula and Europe, highlighting the growing relevance of the secondary market, the increasing sophistication of investor profiles and the emergence of new niches linked to reperforming portfolios and hybrid assets. She also explained how specialisation, operational rigour and multi-asset management capabilities are key factors in an environment of increasing regulatory and macroeconomic complexity.
