Hipoges Strengthens its International Positioning at MIPIM 2026

17 March 2026

From 9 to 13 March, Hipoges took part in MIPIM 2026, one of the leading international events in the real estate sector, held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The company was represented by Hugo Velez, Co-CEO & General Manager; Nuno Antunes, Chief Global NPL & RE Officer; Marco Sales, Global RE Operations Director; and Pedro Valle-Domingues, Chief Business Development Officer, at an edition that once again brought together on the French Riviera some of the most relevant players in the global real estate ecosystem. The organisers of MIPIM 2026 list among its headline figures more than 20,000 delegates, 90 represented countries, 5,000 investors and around €4 trillion in assets under management by attending investors.

MIPIM defines itself as a week-long event aimed at driving the transformation of the built environment through one-to-one meetings, workshops and panel discussions. Beyond its trade fair dimension, the event has established itself as a platform for access to international capital, market trends and collaboration opportunities among investors, developers, operators and suppliers. MIPIM also highlights an exhibition area of more than 19,300 m², with 300 stands and more than 2,300 exhibiting companies, reinforcing its role as a global showcase for projects, ideas and business.

In this context, Hipoges’ presence in Cannes made it possible to further strengthen relationships with key industry professionals, exchange views on market developments and explore new opportunities for collaboration in a strongly international environment. The MIPIM 2026 edition focused on issues that are currently reshaping real estate, such as investment, the rise of artificial intelligence, data centres, sustainability and the need to develop assets that are increasingly resilient and adapted to a changing market.

One of the event’s highlighted areas was also HTL Connection, MIPIM’s platform dedicated to the hospitality, tourism and leisure sectors. This space is designed to connect global investors, hotel groups, operators, developers and public authorities, fostering high-value meetings, sector leadership sessions and new business opportunities. Its growing prominence within the event confirms the market’s interest in specialised segments capable of combining operational vision, investment appeal and international reach.

For Hipoges, taking part in forums of this scale is part of a strategy of staying close to the market and actively listening to the challenges that will shape the sector’s evolution in the coming years. The concentration of capital, knowledge and decision-making capacity that characterises MIPIM makes Cannes a particularly relevant setting in which to share insight, identify trends and strengthen ties with the main players in the European and international real estate market.

Through its participation in MIPIM 2026, Hipoges once again reaffirms its commitment to the sector’s leading events, consolidating its presence in spaces where the major transformations of the market are analysed and where new opportunities for growth, collaboration and long-term value creation are generated.
