IBS Career Forum
On February 15th & 16th, the XVI edition of the IBS Career Forum took place in the ISCTE Business School, in Lisbon. HipoGes Iberia was there on the 15th, the day focused on finance, consulting, accounting and Human Resources. This prestigious event got together more than 70 companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, BNP Paribas, Santander, etc, and allowed students to learn more about the companies and their future environment.
As the past year, the fair had an innovative system to keep in contact students and enterprises: Each student had an electronic card that allowed to transfer information and data, like his/her CV.
More than 1,000 students attended the event, which broke the attendance record for both, companies and students.
ISCTE-IUL
ISCTE-IUL (Instituto Universitário de Lisboa) is a Portuguese public university located in Lisbon.
It has an employability rate of 98% after finishing the degree and of 99% after finishing the master´s degree.
This event aims to promote those numbers, putting in contact future professionals with companies so they can know more information about them, like recruitment and selection processes in different business areas.
HipoGes in the IBS Career Forum
HipoGes exploited its presence, following this agenda:
- Business Breakfast: opportunity to do some networking, meeting students and collecting contacts.
- Speed interviews with 11 candidates.
- Stand: our stand was very busy during the event and we gave information to a lot of students about what starting your professional development at HipoGes means.
- Presentation in an auditorium done by our HR Director, Javier Lorés, where he encouraged the audience to do and work on what makes you happy.
Our trust on young talent is high, and we don´t miss opportunities like this. Feedback was great, as shown by data: 19% more visits to our website and 51% visits to our work with us page.
