Barcelona once again became the focus hub of the international real estate market with the celebration of The District Real Estate Investors Europe 2025, organised by The District Show from 30 September to 2 October at Fira Barcelona – Gran Via. In this edition, Hipoges reaffirmed its position as one of the main players in the sector by participating as a Global Partner, driving the debate on the future of the market and strengthening its role as a strategic partner in global decision-making.
The event brought together more than 10.000 professionals and featured over 1,000 international speakers, who shared their insights across more than 190 sessions held in 5 thematic auditoriums, with over 280 hours of specialised content. Over three intense days, The District once again proved to be the essential meeting point to accelerate transactions, identify new opportunities, and anticipate the trends that will shape the future of the real estate industry in Europe and beyond.

Hipoges key presence in The District’s programme
Hipoges played a particularly prominent role in the conference agenda, participating in three key sessions:
- Carlos Pérez de Yrigoyen took part in “Investing in Spain: Capital Appetite and Local Dynamics” (Global Market Overview, 30/09, 10:00–10:50), analysing the attractiveness of the Spanish market and local dynamics, where he highlighted: GDP growth above the European average, declining unemployment, resilient domestic consumption, and an expanding tourism sector were highlighted as key factors. It was further underlined that, despite certain regulatory challenges, investment opportunities remain attractive, with an increasing presence of institutional funds, private equity, and family offices. Likewise, the role of Hipoges as a strategic partner was emphasized, offering a comprehensive service that supports investors throughout the entire real estate investment cycle, from deal sourcing to active asset management.
- Jorge Pérez-Curto participated in “Where Investors Are Betting on Residential Real Estate” (Residential MFH & SFH, 01/10, 15:30–16:05), focusing on residential investment trends.
- Pedro García e Costa delivered “Revenue Tech and Talent: The Operator Advantage in Hospitality” (Hospitality Summit, 02/10, 11:30–12:00), exploring how technology and talent are driving competitive advantages in the hospitality sector.
