Alumni Talent Program (ALTA), looks for selecting the best college graduates students in order to improve their features which empower their capacity of being hired. Thanks to this iniciative, several activities such as talks, workshops and visits to different companies have been launched into and through which trainees will be able to have a wide range of experiences approaching them to the labour market.
On the 11th February 2016, HipoGes Iberia wanted to give its contribution to Alta Program. To do so, our company put into practice an activity to offer their participants the opportunity to take full advantage of their Training period.
Javier Lorés, Director of Human Resources, and Francisco Fernández, expert in Human Resources management, were in charge of carrying out the presentation at HipoGes premises. All over the development of the activity, some aspects, as essential as those relating to the significance of choosing properly the kind of training, were discussed, as well as the fact of being aware of what companies expect from recent college graduates profiles. In addition, an issue was also discussed, the one that is not many times appreciated enough: the importance of fitting in with the company culture. In the department of Human Resources of HipoGes, candidates’ character and behaviour are analysed in order to check if they can fit in with the company values.
