Hipoges created Hemisphere, a company to act independently and focused exclusively on the valuations area in Portugal.
Hemisphere is completely independent of Hipoges’ work and clients, stating that this “ensures an objective valuation of each property and each real estate fund”.
DespiteHemisphere’s independence, there are direct channels for Hipoges’ Valuations and Real Estate departments, which act as market consultants.“This way we have access to various market KPIs, such as actual sales and rentals of assets under management and a door to the experience of the Valuations team, that has been involved in various transactions and valuations over the years.”
The company, which is regulated by the CMVM (Securities Market Commission, in the Portuguese acronym), has Hugo Velez and Claudio Panunzio (both Managing Partners for Hipoges), along with Mário Neves (Hipoges’ Associate Director Valuations) as key-figures.
Independently from Hipoges, the new company ensures that “Hemisphere has access to about 100.000 real sales and rentals’ transactions, secured by the market’s leading brokers.” For the company, this is “a powerful tool for tracking real HPIs, discounts on sale prices and liquidity” covering “all types of assets and locations.”
Hemisphere will be present at the International Conference of Experts and Valuers, which will take place in Lisbon next Friday, February 18th, focused on valuations within the framework of sustainability and energy efficiency assumptions.
