Nova SBE Career Fair
The XVI edition of the Nova SBE Career fair took place the last february 14th, in Lisbon, where national and international companies were present. This event made possible the contact between prestigious companies and future professionals. The main objective was for students to know the work environment and get information about the best alternatives to face their professional development.
Nova SBE Career Fair allowed the companies to get to know students individually and identify those that could become members of their teams in the near future (through internship or full-time positions).
The fair gave students an exclusive opportunity to familiarize themselves with the job market and gain a better understanding of each company’s mission, business culture, products, values and recruitment plans. Also, the students did not have classes, so they could truly enjoy and participate in the event.
Current corporate world, involving increasing globalization and competition, demands this kind of events in order to make the attendants acquire knowledge about different aspects of the environment they are going to be part of.
In addition, this fair offered information about job vacancies or work available, aiming the promotion of the employability of its assistants beyond a contact with which their professional environment will be.

Knowing of an event of such characteristics we knew we had to be part of it. We know the potential of the students nowadays, and we want to share with them the opportunity of being part of the HipoGes family to achieve their professional development.
Our presence in the fair was a success, which was shown in different metrics like the increasing of visits in our website (+19%) and, inside the website, the increase of visits to our work with us page (+51%).
Being part of the fair was a great decision, establishing relationships with students who are both present and future of the professional environment, and who we are counting on in order to keep growing.
