At the end of October, Hipoges was in Athens to participate inthe event “ProdExpo 2021“, an event that took place at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall. This conference is the most important event in Greece that has a specific focus on real estate development, bringing together real estate market leaders who wish to share their experience in the sector, benefit from timely content and prepare future investment strategies. As a hybrid event, the 22nd ProdExpo 2021 Conference offered a full program of 35 inspiring lectures, timely discussions, and networking events.
Our General Manager & Partner, Hugo Velez, was one of the speakers at this event “ProdExpo 2021”, very focused on the Greek real estate market. His panel, “Expediting REO Management and Divestment: Current Strategies & Trends“, brought together interesting key figures in the Greek real estate market.
In this panel, moderated by Panos Charalambopoulos, Managing Director of SOLUM Property Solutions, our General Manager & Partner was present via online, as in this hybrid event there was the possibility of bringing together several international key-figures in the same space.
Some questions that called for Hugo Velez’s vast experience were, for example, what is the next critical step after mass NPL sales in Greece and how this might affect the Iberian Peninsula, or what is the role of technology in a scenario like this and how the lack of data and transparency in the Greek market can affect international players.
This successful event, one of the most important for the Greek Real Estate market, managed to bring together more than 80 speakers over two event days, between 25 and 26 October, in a hybrid event with 35 lectures and several networking sessions.
