Once again, Hipoges was present at a very successful event organized by DDC Financial. This event, NPL Management South Europe 2022 took place at Divani Caravel in central Athens.
The 9th edition of the NPL Management Summit provided a general overview of the distressed debtvalue chain and NPL investments in southern Europe. This event included investors and other servicers, fund managers, real estate companies, among other interested industries. Participants were able understand more about the market activity and investment prospects for debt instruments in this space, as well as there were opportunities for investors to invest capital in these assets.
The participants of NPL Management South Europe 2022 had the opportunity to receive information from speakers (mainly Greek, Italian, and Spanish) about the future of the debt industry, investment opportunities, know more about their professional experience and the variety of challenges faced to date by key players.

Nikitas Zisimos, Managing Director Hipoges Hellas & Alsvit, was able to share his vast experience in the industry by participating in the “Real Estate: Influences & Outlook” panel, alongside other Thought Leaders like him. In this panel, which took place after a networking lunch, the macro-impact on the different markets of the real estate sub-sectors, such as residential, logistics and offices, was one of the main topics. There was also a debate about what comes next for the NPL/REOs portfolio market and what prospects exist for the primary and secondary markets, as well as what the influence of inflation will be on exit yields.
Nikitas Zisimos’ panel was moderated by Nikolas Kostikas (Partner at Watson Farley & William), and was attended by Chris Mantzouratos (Director of Commercial Advisory at Arbitage Real Estate Group), Vasileios Gkonis (Head of Asset Management at Atlas Property Partners), George Mountis (Group Managing Partner at Delfi Partners & Company), Lila Pateraki (Chief RE Services Offcier at doValue Greece) and Yannis Paraskevopoulos (General Manager of DANOS Group International).
